Ummmm Hello. Its been a long time. Did you miss me?
My life is crazy hectic and I've been neglecting my bloggie fan(s?) again. Things here are ok - teaching is a pain in the buttocks and there is a lot of drama associated with that.
My temper is getting shorter by the minute.
Stress stress stress, vacation, stress stress stress. That is my semester.
Speaking of vacation, we went to Rochester in October for Ryan's aunt's wedding. It was very nice, the wedding, and the trip. And the fall colors. Purdy colors.
I took a lot of pictures but am slowly culling through them. I can only spend limited times on the computer as my wrist is bothering me a great deal. This bites because my JOB is on the computer. First my eyes went (keratoconus, I'll be blind someday) and now my hand? If there is a god, he/she really doesn't want me to stay in bioinfomatics!
Highlights of the trip:
-Meeting my friend and fellow WLS patient Estelle and her husband Jerry. They were mucho fun and I had a great time!
-Dancing with my husband: his FIRST dance in public
-Letchworth State Park
-Uncle Jim (he's crazy! he's fun! I'm glad to have him as a relative, even if by marriage only)
-Getting to know Ryan's aunt a lot better (what a sweetheart)
-Ryan's reading at the wedding
-ESCAPING FROM UTSA
Of course I came home to a disaster.
Here are some pics: (more to come)
