Its in one end and out the other

Pets. I wish they didn't require food and didn't immediately turn it in to poop. My cats think about food constantly (they got that from their momma) and then half the time it comes right back up on the carpet. The other half of the time it comes right back out in the cat box.

I want to teach my cats to use the toilet, but somehow I know its not worth trying. Disasters would ensue. Like the time Merv stepped in his poo and then wiped it all over the walls of the closet. Little brown smeared kitty foot prints on flat paint. It was lovely.

So what's new? I am working my behind off, teaching and trying to get research done. I am somewhat hating my job, well at least the parts of it that involve kissing ass and going to stupid meetings. Teaching is ok, research is fine when I get the time. I am a busy tired distracted and often cranky individual. Thank goodness Ryan is Ryan.

We have a trip coming up, Rochester in Oct. Family wedding. Northern NY in the fall, I am thinking I will take a lot of pictures. I am looking forward to getting away on an adventure. I am, however, not pleased about how much formal clothes for said adventure cost, and I still have to get my hair done! Ryan got an awesome suit though, he's going to look uber-handsome. Yummo.
